Victor is located in the northwest corner of Ontario County along the border of Monroe County. It is a thirty-six-square-mile township nestled in the foothills of the Finger Lakes offering residents, businesses, and visitors the best of all worlds – a peaceful, small-town setting within minutes of the Cities of Rochester and Canandaigua. It is easily accessible via NYS Routes 96 and 490 and NYS I90’s exit 44 from the east or exit 45 from the west.
Victor’s population is growing steadily. It grew from 9,977 in the 2000 census to 14,275 according to the 2010 census information. With 98% of high school students graduating with a Regents Diploma in 2020, Victor Schools are one of the highest rated in the state.
Victor is home to the Ganondagan State Historic Site – This historic Seneca village site is preserved as a state historical site. Victor is the largest of Rochester’s suburbs to be located outside of Monroe County and includes the idyllic hamlets of Boughton Hill, Fishers, and Motts Corners.
