Located in Western New York on the scenic Erie Canal, Brockport is “The Victorian Village on the Erie Canal.” At 2.2 square miles and 8366 residents, it is the largest village in Monroe County. From quaint shops along Main Street to the College at Brockport, opportunity abounds with pedestrian-friendly streets, small shops, and restaurants, many of which are listed on the National Register of Historic places. The Village prides itself on its public art, its Canal front Welcome Center staffed by volunteers who greet boaters and Erie Canal cyclists, a good Old Fashioned 4th of July at the Western Monroe Historical Society, and its nine public parks.
